Land of the Free, Home of the Brave
You and I enjoy this land of the free because of the sacrifices of the men and women serving in our military. Political considerations aside, they deserve our full support for the often dangerous and difficult tasks assigned to them.
To my son, who is presently serving in Iraq, and to all the others who serve this country – I give my thanks and prayers for your safety and well being.
As we celebrate today, please don’t forget those who make it possible.
